the last one i finished was 'ham on rye' by bukowski.

i think i cried the hardest at 'harry potter and the order of the phoenix', but i cry the most at 'harry potter and the deathly hallows', and 'the silmarillion' (but that's just because i read it so much. ha.)

i am into both harry potter and lord of the rings. especially lord of the rings<3. i think the hype for those are well-deserved though. both HP and LOTR created whole new universes and character stories, and LOTR even created languages. whereas, say, the much-hyped 'twilight' saga did nothing but stick several boring characters in a boring town and spice them up a little with a thesaurus.
